Café Sazón is a quietly welcoming spot tucked just off the main hustle of Collins Avenue, offering a casual atmosphere that feels distinctly Miami Beach local. Its outdoor patio area, shaded by a simple hut-like structure, makes for an ideal pause during a busy beach day or a relaxed morning stop. The space often hums with the background sounds of domino games, providing a glimpse into a laid-back neighborhood rhythm.

The cafe is best known for its Cuban-style coffee—rich, well-prepared cappuccinos, cortados, and lattes that draw both early risers and afternoon coffee seekers. Paired with pastries like spinach empanadas and guava pastelitos, it offers a satisfying mix of savory and sweet bites, perfect for breakfast or a light lunch. Portions skew generously sized, often coming alongside buttered bread, making it a practical choice for a casual meal that won’t stretch the wallet.

Visitors who appreciate authentic regional flavors and straightforward service will find this spot welcoming and unpretentious. The staff’s friendliness complements the experience, enhancing the feeling of a neighborhood gathering place rather than a tourist-centric café. Particularly pleasant during sunny mornings or lazy afternoons, Café Sazón serves as both a convenient refreshment stop for beachgoers and a go-to for locals who crave solid Cuban coffee and hearty snacks.

Cafe Sazon is the little outside spot behind the main restaurant on Collins, and it's definitely something of a hidden gem! They have incredible empanadas; the chicken ones in particular are stellar, but everything served from this little patio counter is delicious. It's a lovely spot to grab some treats if you happen to be nearby.

We loved this spot during our stay in Miami Beach, we visited multiple times for breakfast. The breakfast portions were large and I loved that the meals came with a delicious latte and buttered bread, all for a very reasonable piece.

Cutest spot to grab a coffee, pastry and some shade under their hut while taking a break from the beach. Very accessible prices. I loved the ambiance, the music, and watching the locals play dominoes.

Super affordable cuban coffee and bakery shop that serves some amazing flaky empanadas and pastries. Definitely one of our favorite morning spot while in Miami Beach, and our late night treat (guava and cheese pastelito was amazing).

A true hidden gem! This little café has the best coffee around — rich, smooth, and perfectly made every time. Their cortadito is absolutely amazing, and the quick bites are fresh and delicious. The prices are unbeatable, and the people here are genuinely the nicest you’ll meet. It’s one of those rare spots that instantly feels like your favorite neighborhood café. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this little Cuban gem! Their Frozen Mojitos are insanely delicious — just $7 and bursting with fresh mint and lime. I also tried the Piña Colada (also $7) — creamy, tropical, and perfectly balanced. Don’t miss the empanadas (Al Panadas) — I had the spinach and cheese one and it was out of this world. They also have chicken, and ham & cheese versions — all fresh, hot, and full of flavor. We stopped here on a bike ride as a quick pit stop for a snack and rest — it was perfect! The café is on the left side of the road when you’re biking north from South Beach toward Haulover Beach — a perfect spot to pause and recharge. Next door, they also have a full restaurant, which I definitely plan to visit for dinner sometime soon — looking forward to it! Highly recommended to anyone passing by! Great prices, amazing flavors, and a cozy, welcoming vibe.
